Trauffer wooden toys

In 1938, Alfred and Rosa Trauffer founded Trauffer Holzspielwaren AG in Hofstetten near Brienz. The wooden cow with red spots quickly became a bestseller, both as a toy and a souvenir. Over three generations, the range has been expanded to include everything from farm animals and wild animals to wooden figures – sustainable, diverse, and colorful.

Fuchs wood carvings

A family from Hofstetten, the gateway to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum, has been shaping woodcarving in Brienz for decades. Whether as model makers, creators of the Brienz nativity figures "Christnacht," inventors of the Tilsiter cow, or teachers of future woodcarvers, the Fuchs family stands for creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and personality. Fritz Fuchs left behind numerous models and shaped the living history of the family. Since 2021, Fuchs Holzschnitzereien (Fuchs Wood Carvings) – run by Mario Fuchs, 5th generation, together with a team of 12 – has been under the umbrella of Trauffer Switzerland.

Trauffer Butterflies Kiener

Since 2017, Kathrin Kiener's lovingly named "Kienereien" have been part of Trauffer Switzerland. These items are also constantly being revised and further developed, giving them a slightly more modern look, but they remain "typically Kiener." In addition to butterflies, the brand includes wooden books, pacifier chains, music cubes, twin games, and cube puzzles. Kathrin Kiener wanted to create beautiful little things and wooden toys that bring joy—sustainable, valuable, analog, and authentic. She has succeeded in doing so.

Trauffer bending dolls Pilgram

Who doesn't know the super cute Trauffer bendable dolls "Pilgram" with their hand-sewn, tiny clothes and their wooden faces looking lovingly at the world? Trauffer Switzerland took over the doll family from its inventor family Pilgram in 2017 and continued the brand. The figures have been given a few new outfits, as well as chic houses with pretty furnishings. The Pilgram family is the ideal addition to the animals, stables, and accessories from Trauffer wooden toys.

Trauffer Design Toys Kynee

Since 2019, the Trauffer Design Toys brand Kynee has been uncompromisingly continuing these values. Kynee stands for short transport routes, FSC wood, and natural colors. Every product is stylish, enchanting, and cool. The color scheme of white, black, gray, and wood fits into any child's room. The ideas come from grandfather Alfred, who made abacuses, marble runs, and trains—now interpreted in a modern way by his "granddaughter-in-law" Brigitte Trauffer.

Trauffer Watches

Not only does it tick like a Swiss watch, it also looks like one. Trauffer Switzerland stands for authenticity and folklore. Marc A. Trauffer, wooden shoe maker and singer, wanted a watch that suited him—modern, down-to-earth, folkloric. Together with a Jura manufacturer, the Trauffer watch was created. Today, he wears his own brand on his wrist—authentic, high-quality, and uncompromising.
